About Dr. Pearson

Dr. Erik Pearson was raised in Olympia, WA and studied at the University of Washington.  He completed medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and returned to the United States for his general surgery training at the University of Utah.  

Dr. Pearson received the American College of Surgeons Resident Research Scholarship and spent two years at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a research fellow in fetal therapy.  He completed his pediatric surgery fellowship at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta / Emory University.  

Clinically, Dr. Pearson is interested in caring for children suffering from the entire spectrum of pediatric conditions and has specific expertise in minimally invasive surgery in infants and children, surgical oncology, ECMO and pediatric trauma.  

Dr. Pearson and his wife Elisabeth have three children: Henry (4y), Charlotte (4y) and Ellis (<1y).  He is an aspiring triathlete and in his free time can be found enjoying time with his wife and children in Red Rock Canyon or Mt. Charleston as well as swimming, running and cycling.
