Our Surgeons

Kelly Kogut, MD FACS

Dr. Kogut came to Las Vegas in 2000 after completing a pediatric surgery fellowship at LeBonheur Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN and a general surgery residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and undergraduate degree from Colgate University.

Dr. Kogut's greatest joy (and challenge) in life is balancing her professional and family lives. She has two adult children and a wonderfully supportive husband.


Nick Fiore, MD FACS

Dr. Fiore came to Las Vegas in 1998 after completing his general surgery training and pediatric surgery fellowship at Indiana University's J.W. Riley Hospital For Children.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree in English and pre-professional studies at the University of Notre Dame, he received his medical doctorate at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1990.

Dr. Fiore has adult twin children that educate him daily on the "how to's" of fatherhood and he enjoys bicycling and skiing in his spare time.

Erik Pearson, MD FACS

Dr. Erik Pearson came to Las Vegas in 2017 after fellowship training in pediatric surgery at Emory University and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

He was raised in Olympia, WA and studied at the University of Washington before completing medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.

Dr. Pearson completed his general surgery training at the University of Utah and spent two years researching fetal immunology and fetal interventions at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.


Clinically, Dr. Pearson has interests in minimally invasive surgery in neontates, infants and children, surgical oncology, ECMO and pediatric trauma.


Dr. Pearson and his wife Elisabeth have a busy family with three children, Henry (9y), Charlotte (9y) and Ellis (5y) as well as Forrest their bernadoodle. They all can be found enjoying the great outdoors in Red Rock Canyon.

Avery Rossidis, MD

Dr. Avery Rossidis came to Las Vegas in 2022 after completing both her general surgery and pediatric surgery training in Philadelphia. She was born and raised in northeast Ohio and then completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY before earning her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in NYC. Dr. Rossidis completed her general surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) followed by a fellowship in pediatric general, thoracic, and fetal surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). During residency, Dr. Rossidis served as a research fellow for CHOP’s Center for Fetal Research investigating in utero gene editing and the development of an artificial womb.

Dr. Rossidis performs the full gamut of pediatric surgery and has special interests in the correction of congenital anomalies, minimally invasive techniques, and ECMO.

Dr. Rossidis and her husband Dr. Michael Rossidis, a foot and ankle surgeon also practicing in Las Vegas, love spending time outdoors with their son Jax enjoying all this beautiful city has to offer.
